The Foundry is located on the 20th floor of One State Street, Hartford, CT.
What type of cuisine does The Foundry serve?
We offer contemporary American cuisine, inspired by seasonal, sustainable New England ingredients, crafted under the direction of Executive Chef Jesse Powers.
What are your hours of operation?
Dinner Service:
- Wednesday and Thursday: 4-10 p.m.
- Friday: 4-10:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 5-10:30 p.m.
Lunch Service:
- Tuesday-Thursday: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Bar & Lounge:
- Tuesday Jazz Night: 4-8 p.m.
- Wednesday-Friday: 4 p.m.- close
- Saturday: 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
Do you offer valet parking?
Yes, complimentary valet parking is available starting at 5 p.m. daily. Guests can enter through the garage at 400 Columbus Blvd.
RESERVATIONS & DINING
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations open the first of the month for the following calendar month.
Can I book a large party?
For parties of 7 or more, email info@thefoundryllc.com to inquire about prix-fixe or Chef’s Tasting menu options.
What is your cancellation policy for reservations of one to five guests in the dining room?
To ensure a seamless experience for all guests, cancellations within 24 hours of your reservation will incur a $50.00 per-person fee. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in honoring our commitment to excellence.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! Please note any dietary restrictions when booking or inform your server upon arrival, and we will do our best to accommodate.
Do you have a bar or lounge area?
Yes! The bar and lounge are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a bar menu.
Do you have a dress code?
We define our dress code as 'smart chic.' We welcome business casual attire, such as tailored slacks and blouses for women, and button-down shirts with slacks for men. We politely ask that you refrain from wearing athletic wear, beachwear, hats, caps, or distressed denim.
Do you offer wine corkage?
Yes, guests may bring their own wine if it is not on our wine list. A $45 per bottle corkage fee applies.
Can I bring my own cake?
Yes! A $8 per person cake-cutting fee applies.

Do you offer private dining or event spaces?
Yes! We offer multiple private dining spaces:

Do you have AV capabilities for events?
Yes, all private rooms are equipped with smart TVs, screen mirroring, and dedicated audio. Additional AV equipment may be allowed with approval.
Can I host a wedding at The Foundry?
While we do not offer full wedding services, we can host rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, or intimate ceremonies with dinner.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Cash payments are accepted, but we do not accept personal checks.
